Mei mei is born

妹妹终于出世了！2月1日下午4点7分。 体重4。055公斤，身长52厘米，头围37厘米。医生说她是一个 juicy baby :)

Waiting for meimei to arrive 安心待产

转眼之间, 我的父母已经来了两个多星期了。 1月28日是预产期，可是妹妹还没有动静。也好，这样一来妈妈可以选个日之去医院待产，想当年，佳佳也是足月+5天才出来的：）

再说说佳佳， 自从我的父母，也就是佳佳的姥姥姥爷来了之后，佳佳又长了不少，胆量方面，说话方面。父母每天晚饭过后都会出去散散步，有时也会带上佳佳。一般都是1，2两小时呢。他们会走去榜鹅公园，绕着湖慢慢走两圈，那里晚风习习， 非常凉快， 还有不少人在锻炼呢。佳佳看到什么都很新奇，还会学着人家蹲马步，打太极。姥姥姥爷也接替了爸爸每天接送佳佳的任务，这样一来，她也有机会多走走，看看周围的人情风物。 日子长了，在家中也变得更加活跃，嘴巴也更愿意咿咿呀呀，嘟嘟囔囔的讲话了。

上上个周末，一起去了一趟植物园。部分照片有待上载。。。

佳佳的外公外婆来了

佳佳的外公外婆上个星期四晚上从成都飞过来了！
这下妈妈可以安心的待产了。预产期还有两个星期，真好可以给他们时间熟悉一下这里的环境，也可以跟佳佳建立感情 ：） 爸爸妈妈晚上下班也就有人在家里做饭吃了。

Jia Jia's Christmas Gift 佳佳的圣诞礼物

佳佳的第一份圣诞礼物！其实是爸爸妈妈准备的。幼儿园建议父母给自己的孩子准备一份礼物以便在庆祝时打开，给自己的孩子一个惊喜。爸妈使劲动了一番脑筋，最后决定给佳佳一个有很多小格子的储物盒， 然后在里面放上好吃的，好玩的，这样佳佳有的吃又有的玩，还可以在小格子里放上她喜欢玩弄的小玩意，如手链，项链等。看，妈妈包裹的礼物盒还挺漂亮吧，最后爸爸大笔一挥题词：To our dearest Jia Jia, Merry Christmas! From Mummy & Daddy.

Mid-december weekend, mummy's good friend Chang came to visit, brought along her fair and pretty baby girl Qi Qi. See the two girls taking pictures together! pardon jiajia as she just woke up.... 妈妈的好友畅听说妈妈住院了，刚从日本旅行回来就赶忙趁着周末跑来探望。照片上的就是她长的粉白可爱的小女琦琦。佳佳的状态倒是不佳。。。刚刚被叫醒 ：）

感冒- 吸鼻涕器

佳佳最近的一次感冒挺严重，发烧流鼻涕咳嗽一直持续了一个多星期。妈妈可担心了，而且小家伙的胃口也大受影响。没别的办法，只能每天坚持吃药，慢慢的也就有了起色。 妈妈要特别纪录一笔的是，在这期间有一样工具功不可没 – 吸鼻涕器，它的管身较粗，管口适当，吸力挺大，还有过滤头，佳佳的鼻塞严重，全靠爸爸每天4，5次不断的用它来吸出佳佳的鼻涕，才能让佳佳呼吸顺畅一些，可以睡觉安稳一些，也减少了发烧的次数。不过小佳佳开始的时候挺怕这个管子的，一听说要吸鼻子了，就连忙带着哭声的摇头反对，还把一只小手在面前使劲的摇摆 (不要!) :)

佳佳的头发真的是长了， 特别是前面的留海。星期六（12月8日）佳佳的奶奶还在，就决心说剪剪吧。一剪刀下去，真利索，留海变了妹妹头。 接着又把后面的头发修剪齐了。结果就是这样：

11月31日星期五的晚上，突然发现有些见红，当时也没怎么在意，但了早上，妈妈越想越不放心，上网查一查，怀孕后期的出血现象是不寻常的，于是决定跟爸爸一起去竹脚妇幼医院检查。到了医院后，绑上了胎儿心跳和宫缩监控器，一直就监控了一个早上，其间有医生护士进进出出查看并告知我现在有早产的迹象，宫缩频繁力度也不弱，一定要留院治疗观察，今天是不能回家了。 妈妈真的是没想到要住院，什么也没准备，再说佳佳怎么办呀（眼看中午要到，该从幼儿园接她回家了），而且现在宝贝才31周半，太早了呀。。震惊。。着急。。爸爸后来总算可以进到妈妈的病房，并协助办理住院手续。还是爸爸想的快，已经立刻打电话请他远在吉隆坡的母亲下来，好照料一下佳佳。。从此，妈妈就开始了漫长的住院治疗。药物点滴，口服药物，打针，又点滴葡萄糖，钾等微量元素。 药物点滴一定要在产房进行，而且是全天的胎心和宫缩监控 （需要平躺--导致腰酸背痛），有效是有效，可惜点滴一停宫缩又回来了，不得已， 只能从病房重返产房。 继续点滴，监控。。整整住了一个星期的院，药水点滴共7，8瓶，打针两针，抽血5次，在产房住了3天多，病房也3天。。总算得到了控制。 妈妈也从开始的焦急烦躁变得平静了许多，躺了这么多天呀，读完了一整本英文的读者文摘，也看了很多的电视节目。当然不能忘记妈妈住院期间爸爸所给的关爱与鼓励，以及朋友同事的关心。 于此把收到的手机短信纪录下来以示纪念：

一周小纪

佳佳上个星期一晚上突然发起了烧，吃过了以往的退烧药还是反反复复，情急之下妈妈就赶紧请了一天假，拜二早上就跟爸爸一起带她看医生， 结果其实就是一般的伤风引起的细菌感染。 不过妈妈还是觉得请假在家一天陪陪家家是很值得的。也可以趁此机会给佳佳做一点健康的菜肉粥。午餐呢，妈妈就熬了鸡肉西兰花胡萝卜粥，跟佳佳一起分享，小佳佳也算很配合，吃了不少 ：）

周日是爸爸以前同事儿子的周岁聚会。席间好不热闹，有欢快的音乐，缤纷的气球和彩灯， 每人一小袋玩具， 甚至还有小丑的助兴， 一众的小孩子玩的不亦乐乎。对了因为主人是印度人，所以食物也是别具特色，妈妈最喜欢的就是面饼 (Nann)，酸奶还有香料奶茶 (Masala tea，主要香料如黑胡椒，姜，丁香，八角，小豆蔻粉等).

星期三时还给佳佳买了一辆二手的三轮童车，妈妈好好的使劲刷洗了一番，还很新的呢。佳佳早就想要一辆车了，现在总算如愿以偿，瞧她骑上去多神气！

Changi Village 樟宜村

妈妈星期五到星期日都在重感冒中度过。在家里浑浑噩噩了几天，星期日傍晚总算好了一些，可以跟爸爸一起带佳佳出去走走(爸爸辛苦了，尤其是星期日，妈妈补睡眠，佳佳主要是爸爸照顾的). 去空调的地方太冷，还是去Changi Village (樟宜村)漫步一下. 好久没去了. 佳佳可以趁机见识一下飞机。Mummy is down with heavy flu again on Friday, Sunday afternoon finally regained some strength. It is such a sunny day, wouldn't it be a waste if we don't go out for a stroll :) Jia jia got to see for the first time in her life what is a jumbo airplane -- roaring as it flying pass the sky, before making its landing towards nearby Changi airport. It is so loud and scary for little jiajia that daddy has to help cover her little ears.

妹妹的扫描

今天妈妈去做了第二次详细扫描。妹妹现在已经有1.3 公斤重了(可是妈妈至今已经增加了9.4 公斤， 当年怀佳佳一共也就增了10公斤). 扫描师说她发育很好，不轻也不重。而且头已经转向下部了。好啊宝贝，再坚持3个月，咱们就见面了：）
至于妹妹的名字，真的是有点让我们绞尽脑汁。裕妍，源，园，汇。。。最好是双数笔画，字中有水字旁就更好了。

18 month checkup 一岁半常规检查

jiajia went for her 18 mth checkup and immunisation this Tuesday. The nurse commended jiajia growing well and proportionally :) The jab looks really horrifying though, but jiajia only cried for a brief few seconds. What a brave girl! The nurse jokingly said will give her a trophy cert for finishing off all the immunisation jabs :)

星期二早上带佳佳去一岁半常规检查还有疫苗注射。小家伙发育良好，重要指标都在均值以上，护士小姐也说佳佳发育匀称。身高：85厘米 体重：10.93公斤 头围：49厘米 只是那一针看上去真的挺疼的，佳佳真是乖，就哭了几下子。至此，婴儿时期的针全部打完了，接下去就是3岁以后的了。真的可以颁发一枚勇敢勋章给小佳了！

周末游植物园

Botanic garden! Finally daddy willingly agreed to visit it after seeing newspaper featuring the opening of its Children’s Garden in early Oct. We had a very good walk there this Sunday morning. From its main entrance to midway visitor centre, we spent nearly 1.5 hours! Jiajia also had a good workout, walking here and there, up and down, seeing lots of “wang wang”s (dogs), a number of squirrels, some birds and even two graceful swans at the Swan Lake! Around 1pm the sky turned dark and soon came the downpour. We couldn’t make it to the car park on time and have to seek shelter along the way. But we are so lucky, met some really nice people at the two shelters. One where the young couple offered seat to mama, and people having gathering there offered jiajia banana and apple. At another shelter, there are at least 20 people having BBQ picnic there. We were offered fruit cake, Australian style brownies and mineral water. What a feast ") 植物园是妈妈一直以来都很想去的地方。星期天早上看看天气还好，就赶快叫爸爸带佳佳一起去走走。植物园的大门停车场附近开始有好多新修的设施，从那一路开始我们走走停停，看到了很多新奇的花草树木，佳佳也见识了众多的汪汪（狗）， 鸟类，还有几只松鼠，甚至还有两只优雅的白天鹅！走了1个半小时，后来乌云滚滚，我们不得不取消了继续探访儿童园区的念头，打道回府。。。可惜还没走回停车场，就下起了倾盆大雨，在避雨处等啊等，好不容易雨小点，冲出去，一下子雨又下大了。只好再冲向下一个避雨场所。这时也已经差不多午后1点多了， 饥肠辘辘。所幸的是，在两个避雨凉亭都碰到了好心人。一处的年轻夫妇给妈妈让位坐，而隔壁聚餐的叔叔阿姨也给了佳佳一条香蕉吃，外加一苹果。 在另外一处，更是有好多菲佣在聚餐，她们的食物好丰富，还有2，3 篮的蛋糕，果然，不久就有两位阿姨走过来，给了佳佳一片水果蛋糕，两片巧克力蛋糕（澳大利亚风味的）还有一杯矿泉水。 佳佳哪里吃得下这么多啊，最后还是妈妈把他们统统解决了.

妈妈放心了！ What a relief : )

妈妈今天真是高兴，长长得松了一口气。从医生那里知道羊水检测一切正常，这下就可以安心得等待宝贝的到来了。 同时也可以教育佳佳做好作大姐的准备工作。 ：）

Felt a great sense of relief today, in fact ecstasy(!) after hearing from doctor that my amniocentesis test results are normal. Well, now we can prepare ourselves for the arrival of meimei and meanwhile prepare jiajia to be a good big sister! :)
